The Chairperson, Mrs. Ameena Nishat, leads the Design Studio where textile designers are shaping inspirational creativity in their own inimitable ways, setting new bench marks in the International market. The operations of the Administration and Human Resources complying with global standards are spearheaded by the Chairperson herself.

Manama Textile Mills W.L.L., started in 1995, with an unrelenting commitment, revolutionary forecast, and ardor for business is what spurred the Founder and CEO of the company, Mr. Hamid Nishat to carve a niche Regionally and Internationally in the textile industry.

Manama Textile Mills W.L.L started it’s operations in Kingdom of Bahrain with it’s first Weaving Unit of 72 Sulzer wider width looms. Presently the three Weaving units are equipped with the latest machinery from top of the line suppliers in Europe, and are capable of manufacturing a very wide range of Greige fabrics in numerous widths for home furnishing products, apparel and work wear in 100% cotton and poly cotton blends. Ranging from T180 to T1200, MTM offers a large variety of superior fabrics including over 150 variations of quality denims in almost every color, weave, weight and finish.

The company came into spinning activity in 2001 with it’s first Spinning Unit comprising of 32,000 spindles based on 100% cotton. In 2003 another Spinning Unit with 14,400 spindles based on poly cotton blended yarns was added to it’s task force to cater International textile needs. The Spinning Units are equipped with State Of The Art and automatic machines, are considered to be one of the most spinning set-ups in the world and produce a variety of high quality yarns for Greige Fabric, Towels, Knitting, Hosiery and Work Wear for our esteemed clientele.

Manama Textile Mills W.L.L. is a total vertical industrial conglomerate, has now set up a modern Fabric Processing Plant which will turn raw fabric into finished bed sheets and other home furnishing goods including Flat sheets, Fitted sheets, Pillow cases and Duvet covers for International Market especially EC and U.S.A. With the modern set up, the Finishing House targets to produce 3.2 million metres business or 600,000 sheets sets a month.

The Processing Plant introduces the latest in Art Dyeing, Printing and Finishing Technology, making the company competitive with it’s respective foreign counterparts. Manama Textile Mills W.L.L has developed through a continuous & relentless team effort into a most modern and highly industrial set up in Spinning, Weaving, Processing and Cut & Sew for the home furnishing area, ensuring short lead times and vast production capabilities. With these facilities and abilities, MTM aims to lead an edge with the South Asian Markets.
