
WEAVING UNIT
A
decade into its maneuver, Manama Textile Mills
W.L.L has three Weaving units well operational
about 400 looms including Sulzer, Picanol
Omni Plus, Tsudakoma, Rapier, Dobby and Jacquards.
The current weaving production capacity is
around 3.5 million meters per month. An escalation
of 1 million meters shall be fortnight capacity
by the end of 2005 with the augmentation of
another 124 looms.
The weaving facility also includes an exceptional
92 looms for denim, equipped with Morrison
24 Rope Dyeing and Finishing machines and
McCoy Ellison ball wrappers. This is a 1.5
million meters per month denim project which
has started fabric production from March 2005
in all colors, weaves, weights and finish.
The Gammax Rapier looms with Dobby are capable
to make fabrics with high cover factor, coarse
count of yarn both in Warp and Weft in variety
of designs. The Jacquard setup comprising
the latest and most modern machines enables
to produce high quality fabrics in 100% cotton
and cotton blends, basic simple fabrics to
complex technical fabrics in Ethnic, Damask,
Floral, Geometric and Contemporary designs
in all sizes/motifs. Combination of basic
weaves and complex weaves both can be produced
on these machines.
WEAVING
UNIT 1
The
Weaving Unit 1 which comprises of 92 Sulzer
projectile looms and a Benninger Zell sizing
machine is a denim rope dyeing and fabric
unit which hasstarted its production of fabric
in March 2005. The denim set up comprises
of latest state of the art machines including
High Speed Ball Warping System and Long Chain
Beaming System and a 24 Warp Indigo Dye Range
and a Denim Finishing Range from top of the
line supplier. This project has the capacity
to produce 1.5 million meters of a vast variety
of superior quality denim fabric each month
in almost all colors, weaves and finish.
WEAVING
UNIT II and III
The
Weaving Units II and III comprise of most
modern automated apparatus which include wide
width Sulzer Projectile Looms and Picanol
Omni Plus Air Jet looms along with Tsudakoma
Air Jet Looms and Rapier, Dobby & Jacquard
attachments.
